The Senior Cloud Software Engineer role offers you the chance to have a serious impact. You'll be joining an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) company specializing in designing, building, and implementing integrated technologies focusing on methane gas monitoring and tracking. Our solutions help customers optimize field resources and mitigate environmentally damaging situations in real-time. We use a combination of on-site multi-dimensional video and a machine learning/AI-basedplatform to give industries more data intelligence, flexibility, and reliability down to the device level. All this is replacing bulky and inefficient operating systems of the past.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you’ll be at the very heart of our business. You will partner with other engineering teams, field service technicians, business units, and vendors to create and sustain an amazing customer experience.

• Design, implement, stabilize, release, and maintain features that are reliable, scalable, and extensible.
• Document and communicate work effectively using git, JIRA, design documents, etc.
• Work closely with engineering and product stakeholders in defining and building new features.
• Design, implement and maintain APIs. cloud services, and data architecture for Andium.
• Work closely with other engineers to support their access to, and usage of, APIs, cloud services, and data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience.
• MUST have AWS experience.
• Solid experience with Python development (FastAPI framework experience beneficial).
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Experience with testing and mocking methodologies for Python (pytest preferred).
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Completion of a background check.

Nice to Haves

• IoT deployment and support experience.
• Experience in pub/sub technologies like MQTT.
• Experience with time series data and data analytics.
• Experience with ML models in production and ML pipelines.
• Understanding of front-end development for web/mobile applications.

• Salary range: $110,000 - $165,000 based on skills and experience
